Bessie is a 16 week old lab x puppy that came into the centre as a stray.

bessie is a sweet and friendly girl but she can also be quite sensitive at times. She loves chasing toys but hasn't learnt to retrieve them yet. She's a bright girl and is picking up training quickly.

she has been a bit worried around other dogs at the centre so she will need to continue her socialising in her new home and will need owners around for most of the day for this. She will also need continued training in the home. She could live with sensible children pending introductions at the centre.

please note: we have a few dogs on the lewknor site with kennel cough at the moment. Therefore owners of existing dogs wishing to adopt another dog are advised to contact the lewknor centre and speak to a member of staff before visiting to see individual dogs. Conditions will apply to prevent healthy owned dogs from contracting kennel cough. We ask customers to be aware that the precautions we are taking are based on veterinary advice and thank you for your cooperation.
