Max is a gorgeous 9 month old black and white border collie. He is being rehomed through absolutely no fault of his own and is in foster care in fife.

being a typical collie, max is a very energetic little boy although is very clever and so picks things up very quickly. His recall is good at the moment but still requires some working on. He absolutely adores people however does try to jump on people to give them kisses we have been correcting this in foster care. Max loves balls and is also food orientated so very trainable.

max is almost fully housetrained * to the extent where he only has an accident when he has been playing and like any toddler forgets to tell us that he needs (he tells us he needs to go by whining and running back and forward to the door). He also requires a quick groom to prevent any matting of his hair.

max would really rather live with another dog or dogs as long as they would be happy with his bounciness. He is untested with cats, however does tend to try chase cats/birds etc out on walks so may be better living without them unless your cat is very dog savvy.

as a puppy, max needs a home where he would not be routinely left for more than 2-3 hours at a time and would have a secure garden. He will be a fantastic dog for a person, couple or older family with time, energy and commitment. We're not looking for a home with young children for max.
